I am gathering more photos to upload and post here so come back and visit often. I have had to go through books, papers and slides in the records of my parents and my grandfather HCH in order to put some of the pages together for the website. To say the least it is hours and hours of work. When I have exhausted my sources My hope is to have some of the historical information and photos for your enjoyment.

Most of our bookstores were known for having a tall book shelves, wood ladders that balanced on the shelves and a mezzanine floor. The photos I have seen and my memory of the Sf stores, always were crowded with books and the stores had tall ceilings with book shelves up to the ceilings.
